From January 2009, dev.tv is offering a new service: professional training in electronic media in the developing world.

Our series ‘Women on the Front Line’, which is dedicated to violence against women has already been broadcast by more than 30 television channels since its release six months ago. More than a hundred million people have seen it.
The American channel ABC has produced a special programme about gender violence with Condoleeza Rice as an invited guest. On this occasion, ABC broadcast an episode of the series ‘Women on the Front Line’ called ‘Find a Word for It’, concerning the use of rape as a weapon of war, which was shot in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Dr Denis Mukwege, the main figure of this episode, was recently awarded the United Nations Human Rights Prize 2008.
